Established in 1954 and registered with the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai, Shree Khambhat Jain Visha Shrimali Pragati Mandal has its roots in the vision and unity of individuals who migrated from Khambhat (Gujarat) to Mumbai during the 1950s and 1960s in pursuit of better opportunities in business, education, and employment.

As many of these individuals achieved success in their respective fields, they felt a deep sense of responsibility to give back to society. To accomplish this motive, they came together to form this Trust, laying the foundation for a community-driven movement.

To broaden the scope and focus on specific activities, two additional trust were formed, namely:

1. Cambay Visha Shrimali Education Trust
2. The Cambay Swetamber Visha Shrimali Jain Samaj Sahayak Trust

Together, these trusts have made remarkable contributions in the field of Education, Healthcare and Social Welfare.

Over the decades, the Mandal has grown steadily, with more members joining hands, contributing their time, effort, and resources to achieve its objectives.

With the enthusiastic involvement of the younger generation and their novel ideas, the Mandal is poised to expand its footprint into new spheres of social well being, ensuring that the legacy continues with renewed energy and modern vision.
